Virtual Careers Dialogue Series: Opening Event with Kim Jackson, Florida GIO
Thursday, Oct 15 from 3:00-4:00 pm EST, our Citizen Science GIS and GeoBus team at UCF is pleased to welcome Kim Jackson, State of Florida Geospatial Information Officer. The event will include a 25 minute story of her career and advice for career networking, then about 30 minutes for dialogue and audience Q and A. This is an especially unique opportunity for students, faculty, and job seekers to hear from our state leader about the current and future of geospatial technology careers.

Our team recognizes more now than ever in the virtual world with COVID-19, that we can all connect in creative ways to support career growth and networking.
The event is free, open to all around the globe, and designed to create communities and share ideas/knowledge/networks.
This event is the first in our new Virtual Careers Dialogue Series about geospatial technology careers. We’ll be announcing more events very soon. Stay tuned, and stay spatial, friends.
