Through National Science Foundation support, we provide fully funded international research experiences in Belize and Orlando to a select group of students committed to public scholarship with geospatial technologies. With additional support, we also include University of Belize students in our summer fieldwork.

K-12 Teacher Funding for a Summer on the U.S. Pacific Coast

We provide K-12 in-service and pre-service teachers with a fully funded opportunity to engage in interdisciplinary team science with our NSF and Smithsonian drone and eelgrass mapping team from San Diego to Alaska in Summer 2021. And they then work with us with additional funding during the school year to implement these mapping ideas and data into their classroom.
