Elise Lorenzo

PhD Candidate | Outreach Coordinator

Elise Michelle Lorenzo, MA, is a doctoral student in the Department of Sociology at the University of Central Florida and currently in the GIS graduate certificate program. Elise earned her master’s degree in sociology as well as her bachelor’s degree in marketing at UCF. She has been working with Citizen Science GIS since 2018 as a Graduate Research Assistant and Outreach Coordinator for the Maps, Apps, and Drones Tour scheduling school visits with teachers across Central Florida. Her research interests include food choice behavior, identities, environmental sustainability, qualitative methods, and vegetarianism research, with the use of GIS.
