“ Abby Palmer is an undergraduate student pursuing a bachelor’s degree in Anthropology, a minor in Non-Profit Management, and a certificate in Geographical Information Systems at the University of Central Florida. She recently joined the GeoBus project team in August of 2022 to help bridge the gap between science and the public. She is excited to help kids across Orange County understand GIS. Her research interests includes the interaction between people and the environment and society influences on human behavior. Outside of citizen science, she is an active member and events coordinator for UCF’s Improv club and a volunteer at Hope Helps Inc. in preventing and treating homelessness. “
