Aaria Harania

B.S. in Environmental Studies | University of Central Florida

My name is Aaria Harania and I am pursuing a B.S. in Environmental Studies at the University of Central Florida with a passion in climate change action and activism, conservation, sustainability, animal rights and environmental politics. Being an environmental activist, my goal is to develop and implement solutions to the world’s most pressing environmental challenges. I have experience with environmental activism from participating in climate strikes, participating in environmental webinars and panels, attending multiple environmental action projects, and mobilizing the people around me. As a person who loves volunteering and helping the community around me, I have volunteered in service projects that increase the quality of life for the community around and contributed to rehabilitating a degraded region. I am passionate about saving the environment because I believe that if us humans can go to the moon; we can reverse the negative effects we have had on the Earth in order to secure a safe environment for future generations. I am also a branch leader and founder for IDEASforUS- Kenya. Being a part of UCF GeoBus felt like a great fit.
